Is there any way to tell if a baby veiled or Jackson's will grow up to have vibrant colors? I've seen some adult males that are more colorful than others and didn't know if there were any signs while they're little that they'll be more colorful or if it was just by chance.

Not really. That goes for any chameleon. They change so much and look completely different from baby to adulthood.

Seeing the parents might give some indication about the potential your baby has, as generally chameleons born with better genetics display more vibrant colors, however nothing is guaranteed!

I agree that the parent play a big part and I also think a healthy, well cared for and happy animal with look more vibrant.
