Color

I just got my chameleon last on sunday, april 6th, 2014, and he has been green scince then but over this weekend he has been less green and almost a dark, grayish, brownish color. Is there something wrong with my chameleon or am I just freaking out over nothing.

gender: male
size: 5 to 6 inches
cage: screened reptibreez
food: 5 to 6 crickets a day with a little bit of calcium+D3 powder
Water: spray his tree 2 to 3 times a day
how meny times he has sheded scince I got him: 0

It can take up to a month sometimes for chameleons to get used to their new enclosures. A dark coloration usually means they are stressed or it can also mean they are absorbing light while basking. You are probably over reacting. Give him a little time to settle in. Pictures are always helpful too.
