Coco fiber ... Veild eatting it?????

I walked in my bed room and my vild was picking at the coco fiber for his pothos plans ? Is this bad or normal?

both.

you should have any loose substrate from plants, or the dirt, covered in large river rocks so they dont eat it.

it can cause impaction.

Veilds will eat anything! I had my little one eat som moss and he had a terrible time passing it. The coconut husk is good because it is resistant to mold and mildew, but it can be ingested and cause serious problems!

Coco fibre is way safer to ingest than sand or mud because it will pass more easily. It's still not a great situation though so cover it up like mom says

Keep an eye in him the next couple of days and make sure he can poop
