closing one eye? is the light too bright?

hi, i have a month old male veiled. he's been with me for more than a week now. took a while before he has settled in his new home. i cage him in a 24x12x16 screen cage with a uvb light and a white fluorescent lamp on top. there are dracaena plants and a bird's nest fern in his cage. i mist 4 times a day and i make sure all the plants are wet for him to drink through the leaves. he usually hangs in the upper part of the cage sitting in a branch directly under the uvb light. he's position puts he's right eye directly at the uvb light and he closes he's right eye usually and use his left eye to look around. is this normal? is the uvb too bright for him? should i turn off the fluorescent light? im just concerned. i hope he's okay.

when i reach him a bubble came out of his nose. i think he's having colds. what should i do? we don't have a reptile vet here in our city

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - 1month old male veiled. he's been with me for a week now
Handling - i dont handle him as much as possible to reduce stress.
Feeding - i feed crickets, he usually takes 4 medium size crickets a day. i gutload my crickets with apple, seasame seeds, sunflower seeds, potato, raw almonds.
Supplements - i use repashy all in one calcium plus. i dust the crickets everyday.
Watering - i mist 3-4 times a day, i make sure all the foliage inside the cage is wet every misting. i always make sure the cage dries between every misting.
Fecal Description - the color of his fecal is brown with white/yellowish tip. but he has not dropped any today. normally he drops everyday, except today he has not dropped any.
History - none. i just bought him from a petshop with some chameleons inside the cage with him.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - wood and screen cage. size is 24x12x16
Lighting - reptisun 5.0 uvb light and a white fluorescent lamp for extra lighting
Temperature - the cage temperature is at 29c-32c
Humidity - i dont check my humidity since philippines is quite humid.
Plants - live plants. three kinds of dracaena:

Placement - inside my room beside my bed. it is close to the floor.
Location - philippines

he's been restless. he usually sleeps after the lights are off but this time he's still moving and eyes are still open. both eyes are open before the lights went off.

medium size crickets seem way too big for a 1 month old. Can we see a picture? Maybe the person who sold him to you "rolled back the odometer"?

Where are you measuring the temperature. That's a good range for the basking spot, but it might be a bit warm for the rest of the enclosure.

When you say "bubble" was it mucus like or did it leave a white residue?

the bubble seems to be mucus. i'll post a picture in a while. thanks. im really concerned

here are the photos of the cage and my male veiled close up. i noticed yesterday he closes his right eye which is seen in the picture. but when he opens it, i examine his right eye for me it's fine. but there's got to be something wrong because he closes it.
