Climbing on his cage

So freaking reptar the last two days has been climbing under his UV light on the top if his cage. He has/is shedding, like the only white skin left is his left side and like 1/3 of his tale. He'll sit under the light for 2-4 minutes then jump onto his leaf and repeat the cycle

Is this normal? hes eating the same if not more (8-12 crickets a day) and is completely normal, if not more friendly which would have been hard to begin with. Im just wondering whats up with him.

I dunno bout this behavior on the uv bulb, but for heat lamp hanging...he would want it warmer. Perhaps he is just confused and still may want some warmer temps. this is very common with veileds looking for more heat.

His temps are 83-86. Hes never tried to hang under his heat light, he alights his body perfectly under the UVB tube in a line So i know he was looking for UVB. This will be shed day #4. still waiting for his left side to get un flaked. Misting schedule has been pumped up a bit to try and help him. Well see how htis goes :)
