Cletus's first shed....also another question...salivating???

Hey guys what's up so my chameleon is having his first shed since I've had him. But anoylther thing I'm a little off set by is he seems to be salivating ? Whe. He opens his mouth he has a lot of extra saliva in his mouth and its actually collecting around his mouth in little bubbles........ It is not anywhere around his nose and its not coming out of his nose strictly his mouth..... what can this be ? Help?????

Can you tell if there is mucus at all? I would be a bit concerned about a respiratory infection, but it's not possible for me to be sure just from looking at a few bubbles........

That sounds like a respiratory infection to me. I would get to a vet asap
