Cleaning reptariums

I have brought in my reptariums from the summer and would like to wash them. Can I put them in a washing machine on a gentle cycle and a splash of bleach?


I have a dozen plus so I was hoping to clean them in one fell swoop instead of individually

So NOOOOOOoo body ever cleaned their reptarium?

I have put my reptariums in the washing machine with a bit of bleach. There can be some slight unraveling if you already have a snag or hole, but the four of mine are just fine after washing. You may have to wipe out your washing machine though. I washed a used one that had a hole and it left little black threads all over the washing machine. But it was still good after I patched it with some pet screen.

I wash my reptarium in the washing machine. I also use just a very tiny amount of bleach although Apogee recommends against it. They claim it could degrade the fabric over time. They recommend using a mild detergent but I'm not too sure if I like that idea. Use a gentle cycle on the washer, and if possible put it back on the frame while its still damp and let it dry on the frame. It may make things easier for you.
