Clarence turns 1 tomorrow Changes to expect?

Hey Everyone.

My nosybe turns one tomorrow. I know its about time to stop feeding him daily and move to every other day, but are there any other changes I should expect? I noticed that he is shedding, but just after his vent for a few inches. I am assuming that they shed differently as adults? Normally he would do a full body shed at once.

Yes, you can start to slow down on the feeding. My 1 year old male veiled eats 4-5 times a week. Equivalent of about 8-10 crickets, but of course lots of variety I just want to give you an idea of how much he eats at each feeding.

As for the shedding, as adults they will usually only shed in pieces instead of the full body shed you're used to. So what your guy is doing sounds completely normal for his age.

Ok sounds good. He weighed in today at 105 grams. I will attempt to get some good photos tonight when I get off work.

You may want to lock your liqour cabinet and put your car keys out of sight. maybe put a lock on your tv remote. boys will be boys. Make sure not to deny him of his girlfriends, that will only make him want to date them more. you know the basics. enjoy his colors.
