chia grass

Has anyone ever used chia grass as a live background or even a carpet? I was thinking about growing some on a piece of filter fabric and hangimg it on the back of my cage. Thought it would provide more humidity and look cool.

I use regular grass as a floor but you need to wait for it to be thick enough so there is no access to the dirt, the dirt needs to be fine and clean, and also no fertilizer
