I don't get too many chances to come on here often, busy busy!

Chevy is over a Year old now and is doing amazing! Since my first posting on here in August 2014, when we didn't think he was going to make it because of his MBD, these great people on here helped us, and thus our little spitfire is healthy and happy!:D:D:D:D

Hey Chevycham,
Chevy is looking happy and healthy, no signs of MBD that I can see. You must be doing something right. Veiled's are awesome Chams .Great job on the rescue, thanks for sharing.

Chevy looks awesome Judy! Complete recovery from the MBD. You did a fantastic job with him.

I just wish they wouldn't grow up so fast.

It's been a long process, but a rewarding one! We had no idea what we were getting into, but, I became immediately attached. I should have done the right research, but I didn't and poor little guy got MBD. I honestly hated reptiles before Chevy, but, once I found out what was happening, there was no going back. Every vet visit, every dollar spent has been beyond worth watching him thrive. I am a firm believer in the fact that if you take in any animals, reptiles or anything that breathes, you are taking on the responsibility of making sure that they have what they need. I can't stand it when I see those who buy these beautiful reptiles, and don't give them the proper care. Jannb helped me so much a long with many others on here. Great community forum. I love sharing his progress and I hope others who are new owners take some of the advice I have posted and learn from it and realize that you can help, sometimes it doesn't work, but if you commit to it, Chevy is a great example of commitment.

We all love having him. He has a personality, its funny to watch. We butt heads ALL the time. He loves to hiss at me, but when I open his cage door, he books it down to my arm to come out. My husband laughs at me all the time because he says I have become someone that is OBESSED with Chameleons now. He is just like having a kid:)
