Hello all, this is a cage I built to receive a juvenile panther tmrw morning. I've had about five veileds, two purchased in my adolescent years and three pet shop rescues. This was about 14-8 years ago and I will be reentering the hobby shortly. I took a break through college but I can't deny my love of biology and herpetology so I had to jump back in. I will be adding an orchid until I can find a healthy ficus, and will picking up my UV light as well. Does anyone feed their panthers silkworms? Its such a long drive to pick up properly fed feeders that I'd like to raise something and I've had luck in the past w silkies, not so much trying to raise crickets.

aside from needing a lot of plants/foliage and more twigs, it works...but how cheap?

i dont know if you are saving THAT much money for the "ghetto" factor

edit: i'm assuming you have UVB and Basking for your two bulbs?

Yea this is just a mock up, I'll have my UVB bulb later this week and adding more foliage as well. Just trying to show off my creation. It's no prefab, but water isn't an issue with constant mistings I've had that problem in the past w wood cages. Not bad for free though, not sure what the wire cost I just found it around the house unused(had been purchased for moms chicken coop) but it
Took me most of the day with shears and zip ties.
