Chamforums advice was taken! More foliage.

My grandmother has been getting me some fake plants (who knows where she gets them all) and I've got one from her that is currently in the cage, and then one that I just put in..

I hung it upside-down to drip water off of. And I have also moved one fake plant so that it covers the branches more.

I really think the cage looks wonderful in person but in the pictures you can't really see how many fake vines there are in there lol.

There are branches of a fake vine I hung upside down behind the ficus and blocked by branches. You can't get enough foliage. Aghh!

Also, the pictures are sideways.

I have also gotten word that I need a much bigger cage (don't fret, I AM going to build one myself SOOOOONN), and I agree. He roams around his cage constantly and sometimes even comes out when I am sitting in front with the door open.

If anyone has DIY cage tips, lemme know!

Sum it all up:

• cage is small, but I AM going to build a bigger one.
• lots more foliage
• you can't even SEE all the foliage
• There is so much foliage
• Advice is appreciated on how to make cages.

The bottom of the cages do look a little empty though. Maybe a potted small jade plant will fix that.

So, basically you are saying that you need more foliage! (sorry, couldn't resist ) There are tons of ideas out there with tons of price ranges, and my advice is to plan things out well to avoid spending money twice! Check out some of the enclosure picture threads in this section (at the top) for some cool ideas.

Oh I know! I just can't have enough plants. I only have one live plant though. I'm looking to get another for humidity (and foliage) reasons.

I have asked advice personally of some members, and I love to check out the DIY cages, but I have no clue about the actual construction, and I just like to see people's opinions on materials.

I love the picture threads, but they make me jealous of people's gorgeous custom cages!
