So I've seen a lot of my more 'special' species mating and eggs hatching and stuff, but I started off 3 years ago with a veiled and never got a chance to get my veiled to mate with another female cause I didn't have space for a female. So I found myself someone looking for a nice male and since this female was quite dominating to the last male which was a young and small male, my male would probably do better. My male is not really tempered but he is at least twice as big as the female and 1,5 times bigger than regular males you see out here.
So first we tried in her cage, but that didn't work, cage was to tight for my huge veiled, so we switched her pardalis over, which had a bigger cage, and got the 2 to a completly different cage and the fun got started. The female stayed calm but she got into a space my veiled caqsue was stuck and he couldn't reach her. So I put my hand behind the female to push her forward toward the male, my male didn't doubt a second and came right into action.
The two lovebirds went mating twice but unfortunatly she isn't pregnant, so we try again later some time. It did give some nice shots.
Don't mind the lamps, they are being moved soon but the pardalis is too small to reach them (it's not my cage btw)
