is anyone on here from Australia and could help me find a chameleon? I can't find any Australian sites that sell any.

I know my info could be terribly outdated, but chameleons were illegal to own in Australia. Of course the last time I spoke with someone about this was roughly 7 years ago. I had a friend of a friend who was working in a zoo system there and he explained how it was even hard for there establishment to get chameleons.

Not positive, but I don't think you can have chameleons in Australia it's on their invasive species list. Remember the cane toad?

That would make sense why I can't find any for sale haha. Australia has very strict policies with everything foreign, they have to make everything difficult. The cane toad is a poisonous super breeding pest, hard to compare to these beautiful creatures. Id really love one!

I would agree with you on that point. However I'm just saying with all the destruction they caused that's probably why they are so strict about it. I hope it don't get that strict here, chameleons have already been classified as invasive here.
