Chameleons have made me go CRAZY!

I am getting a Nosy next weekend at the Tampa show from Steve (Chameleons by Design) that I picked out a few weeks ago. My husband, being a little set back by my growing collection, said that if I got another cham, that he was going to get... (thinking of the most ridiculous thing he could think of), a Great Dane. Well, playing along with him, I started researching them and I have fallen in love with the breed. We have visited a few breeders and litters, I discussed it with my Vet, and, well, uh...we pick up our 50 pound 4 month old puppy Monday. The father has to be the biggest dog I have ever seen(160 lbs.) and having put his big old paws on my husbands shoulders easily towered over him. I will post pics Monday....

I have a Great Dane. I adore the breed. My best piece of advice is to check out "Danes on Line" or "Leans and Slobbers" on line. DOL has long time breeders, and people who are totally committed to the breed.

BTW, I rescued my Dane, who is now about 9 years old. He is a registered therapy dog, and the best companion animal I have EVER had.

Get ready......they are one goofy, drooling, loving, big big dog....
