Hello forum. I need your help. Our chameleon is laying lifeless dehydraded and he was eaten on by the beetles mealworms turn into. He hasn't been eating or drink for well over a week now. There is a wound where they were eating at and it goes into his skin and you can see his meat. We are poor and cannot take him to a vet. We desperately need advice. He is suffering I thought he was dead:,(! Can anything help us in our time of need:,(

It's not looking so well based on what you've mentioned. It may even be too late, but go ahead and fill the link out to the best of your knowledge. We'll try our best to understand what is going on with your cham and what has lead to his poor health.

Do this now:
First things first, get him out of that cage if you can't get the beetles out.
Put some neosporin on the open wounds.
Now he needs water. Hand spray him with very warm water for a long time (20 minutes). Also lightly drip water on his nose. That may trigger his drinking reflex.
Obviously I am going to strongly recommend a visit to the vet, but I understand.
