How do you weigh your chameleon?

i had an idea for this i am still trying to find the scale tho. if you could find a digital scale that measured in grams.... attach a branch/vine to in then zero the scale and have your cham climb onto it. i cant find a scale that has an option to zero tho... or just know the weight of the branch then subtract it from the total weight of the cham and branch.

Almost all digital scales now can tear to zero...look for a postal scale that has a tear function. I just roll a paper towl up then get the cham to grip the paper towl. But yea Wal-mart has digital postal scales that can tear to zero.

LLL reptile had one on their front page a few days ago for twelve dollors. It was digital and read in grams but not sure if it had a tare adjustment. David

Every scale you'd find would be able to tare out that weight. Go on ebay and get a cheapo one for only 5$...
