Chameleon sleeping at night

Hi, all chameleon forum users, I have a question about my chameleon sleeping at night, my chameleons cage is next to my pc, on school days I shut off his lights at 10pm and thats when i get off, but on weekends i stay up later, and maybe maximum on school days 11pm, I notice both times when i'm on my pc after I turn off his lights he comes to the side of the cage where my pc and monitors is closest to and will sleep there, is it possible he is not tired and is trying to get some light? but whenever I check him it seems he is asleep, I just recently noticed this and before it was never an issue and he'd sleep in the back of his cage behind leaves and where it is dark in general. Should I put a towel or something over his cage to block the light?

I have a similar situation to you, and I have a lamp right next to the cage. When I am still awake, the lamp is on and the chameleon lights are off. I put a pillow in between the lamp and the cage, making sure that there is no fire hazard. You could try to put a pillow, towel, etc., on the side of the cage where the chameleon can view the PC. If this does not work, maybe there is an underlying issue going on. Let's try this and then we will see what happens. Good luck! :)
