chameleon not eating !!

I have a two month old female panther and she is eating out of a cup, I recently changed the cup because I didnt want her eating out of something filthy. I changed it a few days ago and she doesnt appear to be eating. Some crickets do get out but the ones in the cup she doesnt bother with.

Any help or advice would be helpful

Look around and make sure there are some poops. If not then post in the health clinic and make sure you fill out the questionnaire "How to ask a question"
I didn't see my baby eating for a few days and started to get scared but, then found several poops and now I make sure I check for them every day.

Does it look really different from the first cup?? My veiled didn't like his new cup but adjusted to it after a couple of days. Since then I bought 4 of the same cups so I always have a clean cup.

I bought her from a best store and they gave me this tiny little cup so i ended up getting water bottles and cutting them in half to put them in there but it looks a quite bit different

I go in there to mist her and i clean up poop off the leaves all the time.

She is starting to shed could that have anything to do with it?

yes it could. Lots of chams eat less or stop eating when they shed. Shouldn't take long to shed thould. Ked her well hydrated and a warm mist may help.

her shed went very quickly cause she is only a few months old, still havent seen her eat but i am checking on her often to make sure

My veileds always get very cranky for a few days before and after a shed. At this point I wouldn't worry too much and remember that a cham can go a few days without food before worrying should start. But yes, keep her hydrated in the meantime.

I posted this on your thread that was closed. hello there and sorry to hear your little one is not eating. There are several things that need changing. First you need a plain calcium to dust with. One that contains NO d3. The repcal you are using contains a very high concentration of d3 and you do not want to use that but a couple of times a month.You could be overdosing your little one on d3. The multi should be used 2 or three times a month also. Your basking temp should be around 90.You did not mention your basking.. ambient in the mid to low 70's ideally. Humidity does not need to stay at 80% That is a bit high constantly. I would shoot for around 50-60% and then when you mist, it should rise and fall. I would also read up on gutloading on Sandrachameleons page. You need to add more variety to your gutload. Not saying that 100% that any of these are definite reasons why you cham is not eating but the above things need to be addressed
