chameleon just started biting

Do you guys think a four month chameleon can bite hard lol? What are some good ways you guys tame your chams

Its all about peronality. If you have an aggressive/scared cham its gonna take a while but dont give in. start by hand food association then from there take him outside to catch some rays/fun activities such as exploring new plants or what not. Keep in mind if your cham doesnt like to be held/handled then respect his decision and let him be. There is thread on here that sums it up pretty well, try looking for it.

Hey, I had a good teacher lol. Hes doing good. The weather here has been ugly the past couple days so i cant take him out but ill post/send some pic your way when hes fired up

when you go to pick him up just make sure you bring your hand to him from under his chin and the mist important think dont hesitate,when you start pulling your hand away they get worse,my misses does that and then they go black and start hissing and spiting.they wont bite just gape there month and swing it to your hand but from under there chin they carnt do it

I have read of Chams drawing blood by biting their owners before haha. But you persevere with patience.

Treat him with some free ranging I've read that has proven to be very effective . Of course you'd ease into it by cup feeding and making sure he doesn't think you're trying to eat him hahaha!

i think its realy where they come from..
how are they handled at the shop..
the store in holland where i bought my chammy he is 6 months like that +- wanna gets out and like to run around my head and my arms.. realy..
and almost all the chams from there are like that..
