Ok so the fiance and I have little Reggie in our room, can't be he best idea, but I've been limited. Question, at night I realizeit should be pitch dark in the cage, but is it ok to use a small blac light to se in the room when needed? Also the Fiance asks if we an turn the dripper off at night due to the insanity the water drip causes? =D

Dripper is off at night to prevent stagnant water causing any issues.

A black light should be fine unless your guy is an insanely light sleeper. I can even turn on my normal (incandescent) light and it doesn't bother most of my guys. I have a few that wake up though.

I have both my guys in my bedroom. They've been fine for the last 7 months. They're fine with the light from the tv (that's what I was worried about disturbing them at first) but I guess they got used to it.
Every so often I'll have to find something in the room after lights out, and we have to turn the overhead light on for a minute or two and they'll even stay sleeping through that. It's only if we leave it on for a while that they'll wake up.

Hey thanks! I noticed Reggie actually is a pretty good sleeper! And he turns such a beautiful color!
