Chameleon Habitat

Chameleon Habitat

Does anybody have any knowledge of how chameleons act in the wild?

For instance, if a chameleon initally inhabits a tree, would he be inclined to move to another tree?

Also, is there any ways of luring a chameleon? All of this information is for a good cause, so i can relocate my lost Veiled

They will wander until they find a place where their needs are met... That's what i understand anyways.

yea, i've been told that they look for a tree that provides them with sufficient food and water source

This is all fine for females, but supposidly males also keep moving in search of a female

So, i figure since i hose down the willow daily and put a supply of crickets up there and keep resupplying, last i need is a female vieled which i dont own, nor does anybody else in this town!

I think i need another thread looking for local female-vieled owners, no?

I put a member's profile in the fist thread about him being lost who lives in NJ and has a female. I believe it's whitespyder or something like that.

Also, does anybody know if a chameleon would be inclined to go into a piney-tree? like the ones with pines, kind of like a christmas tree? i'm not sure if the pines would harm the chameleon, so i dont know if i should bother looking in there because i dont know if he would venture into those kind of trees.

Does anybody know if he would?

If you are speaking of an Evergreen tree, it's not the pines I would worry about as much as the ungodly sap, especially if it's a leaf eater.
