My male Chameleon has been letting his leg hang and hasn’t been using it, he very acrobatic at times so suspect he could of hurt it but he also has this patch of dry skin on leg to which I thought he’d possibly bury my it but now not sure, any advice ?

Hi and welcome. :) In order to help figure out the problem, we’ll need quite a bit more info from you. Let’s start with what supplements you use and what type of uvb lighting? Can you provide some pics of his entire enclosure, including the lights? If you can get better pics of that leg, that would also help. I think I’m seeing a possible wound or something right at the elbow. I also wonder about a couple of other things, such as the dark patch on his side and the white patch on that arm.

He seems to have a white mark on his side in the turquoise stripe in a position that if his elbow was moved up would meet the mark on the end of the elbow. It’s kind of a strange place for something like a burn…I wonder if it’s fungal or something?

For him to be hanging his leg like that,it has to be bothering him.

May need to see a good chameleon vet.
