Chameleon Fall!

I was taking a plant out of my chameleons cage when he slipped and fell off a branch:eek:! He caught onto a near by plant then fell and hit the wooden bottom about 1-2 feet off the ground! I picked him up and inspected his bones and legs. All his legs and bones are straight and he climbed up my arm with no problem or signs of pain. Is this going to be fatal?? He is about 5 months old, Should I be worried?

EDIT: I walked up to his cage after typing this and saw him drinking water from his dripper. Is this a sign of broken bones or pain? Or is he just wanting a drink

Chameleons have ways of coping with falls- it is a hazard of living in trees. They inflate their bodies to cushion the fall. 1-2 feet should not be a problem, search "jumping chameleons" on you-tube and you will feel a lot better! :)
