Chameleon Eye Help!!

I have a baby chameleon.. one eye closes periodicly && the opens but sometimes is closed tight like when blink. I spoke to a fellow co-worker and she said that chameleons Blink.. Help!! is that true or am I doing something wrong or is she sick???
