Hey! first time asking a question.
So, my female veiled chameleon is about 6 months old. I've found her pacing at the bottom of her terrarium for the past couple of weeks. She is very healthy; a beautiful green color, no signs of bone disease, she climbs very well, she's in a 40 gallon mesh terrarium with a ton of places to hide as well as a couple live plants for humidity.
We mist the cage at least twice a day using luke-warm water as well as a dripping system that is refilled once a day.
We dust her food with calcium and d3 as needed.
I've included a laying-bin at the bottom of her terrarium, but she always seems uninterested, even when I've shown it to her and put her inside it. I heard that chameleons dislike the color red, and it happens to be red, could that be a problem?
I'm just wondering what's going on. She has not gained much weight, but her appetite has diminished some...
Thanks!
