What up guys,

So my 7month old panther refuses to eat crickets or Roaches. He loves super worms, but will leave everything else and refuse to eat. Heard super worms arnt a great staple but not sure what else to do. Thanks

Hi! So superworms are high in fat so they shouldn't be fed as a staple. Try going off of this feed chart

It’s possible that he just is not hungry. superworms are kind of like cham candy. If you aren’t hungry you won’t want to eat an apple but you may eat a piece of candy.

I would stop offering cham candy or now. How often are you offering food?

I agree, cut out the supers. I had a superworm-addicted veiled. It was a struggle. Never touched the ivory heads or red runners, barely touched bsfl, went off crickets, went off dubia, got bored with moths. He would eat superworms, wax worms, sometimes horn worms, and silkies occasionally. I did eventually offer crickets exclusively and he began to eat those again after his super-binge. It did take a long time.
