Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? Perkins is a veiled chameleon, a male, and he's around five months old. We've had him for about 2 1/2 months.
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? We usually handle him every other day for about ten to fifteen minutes.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? We feed him every day at six; we start off with ten crickets and once he eats those we put in another ten. We feed them simple cricket food and water. Sometimes we give him large mealworms or wax worms, but usually only once a week, about eight or nine.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? I'm not sure of the brand or type, but we usually put the products over the crickets before feeding.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? We have a bowl of water with a bubbler in it. We must about 4-5 times a day for 2 minutes. We sometimes see him drinking, rarely.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? He has not been tested for parasites. His recent droppings are brown, somewhat pellet shaped, and smelly.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. We bought him from the pet store; all they told us was that he was one of the most friendly chams they'd ever had.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? It is a rather large glass cage, I'm not sure of the dimensions but I have included a picture at the top of the post. It has screen on the top and on one section of one of the sides.
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? We have a 100 watt heat lamp and UV lamp from repti-med. We have him covered up with his lights out during the day(due to our busy daily schedules, we aren't home and are fearful of the heat lamp falling and catching fire. He is covered up at 6am and uncovered around 5:30pm.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? His basking spot is 90 degrees. The average temperature in his cage is 80 degrees. His lowest nighttime temp is 70.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? We have a gauge in his cage that measures humidity. It usually stays anywhere from 60-80 percent humidity and we maintain this by the bubbler we have in his water bowl and by misting the cage.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? We are using a live plant, a Pothos plant.
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? His cage is placed next to the kitchen bar in our apartment. It is not near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas. His cage at its highest is probably 5 feet from the ground.
Location - Where are you geographically located? Central Texas, USA

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.
Well, yesterday we placed his normal amounts of crickets in his cage. Usually he has them totally cleared up within the next couple of hours, but when we woke him up today we noticed that there were still several crickets(about 8 or 9) still in his cage, indicating that he'd only eaten about half of the normal amount. We were concerned, so we didn't add any more crickets to his tank and let those left in there stay. Since we woke him up(it's been around 6 hours) he hasn't eaten one of them. He is now perched at the highest point in his cage, practically laying on his plant.
I don't know if this has anything to do with that, but his poop has a strong, bad odor to it and no white stuff(?) that it has previously had in it.
I'm somewhat worried about him. Am I just being an overprotective mother or could something seriously be wrong?:(
I've included some pictures of him and his cage.
