Cham not eating...Time to lay eggs?

I just recently obtained what I think is a female Flap Neck. All of my other Veileds are male so when it comes to the whole female egg thing I am very inexperienced. I got her a little over a week ago and a day or so after I got her she finally started eating on a regular basis and handling was good after two days. She just recently stoped eating i think it was yesterday or the evening of Sunday she didnt eat.

The person I got her from has no idea on the age but gave me a guess of 4-6 months. Her body length is approx 5 inches from tip of nose to base of tail not the tip of the tail.

If she is ready to drop eggs, You should see it in her appearance. Do you have a place for her to dig? I've had some of my flapnecks go for days without eating. Make sure lots of water is available for drinking., and offer smaller food. Flies work great to simulate their feeding. A superworm every now and then get's my big females attention everytime. Here's a picture of a female three days before she laid her clutch.

I have tried small crickets but not worms or flies. I will put something in for her to dig ASAP. How big should the digging container be?

Got a pot with some moistened playsand in there. No digging as of yet, today will be day three of no eating. Even covered corners of cage so you can not see the pot were she to dig.

I've have them lay in as small as a 8" pot. But mostly use a 16"X16"X16" box filled with moist playsand, that screen cage sits on. Is she plump, or fat in appearance?
