Hey guys, need anyones help to identify this type of cham? Found him/her hurt/hungry on the ground..was really weak for 2-3days. Have been feeding it some flies and big black ants and its been taking water from water misted on leaf in temporary enclosure. Clingy fella also. Each time i come close, he/she tries to come in my direction to try and climb onto me somehow.
So back to the question, what type of cham is he/she?

You have a male Tiger or Seychelles Tiger Chameleon, Archaius tigris (formerly Calumma tigris). This species is endemic to the Seychelles. Where are you from?

Chris, you seem quite knowledgeable here. What can i expect from this species? In terms of feeding and keeping him enclosed? Was honestly thinking of just nursing him back to decent health n releasing back to nature...but cant help wanting to keep him at the same time. Also the temporary enclosure has no cover..but he doesnt seem to want to wander off unless im nearby at my computer working..then he tends to approach me.

Honestly, this species is not easy to keep, and I'm not sure if you can legally keep them in the Seychelles or if they are protected. What makes you think it is injured? It looks quite healthy in the photo. I would honestly release it if I were you.
