Ceramic heater in porcelain dome?

Will they work properly in a porcelain dome, or do I need to have a wire lamp? I have a 100W heater. Thanks!

That would be best in a AL dome fixture as it will direct all the heat down. However keep in mind that use'n those can burn your chameleon if not careful!!! If you put a heater inside a porcelain dome you will probably end up with a very very hot dome.
