Caterpillers

Does anyone know what im talking about? thoose moth caterpillers that come down from the big white cacoons where 100's hatch at once. easten tent moth or something. are the caterpillers ok to feed? theres so many and i'd love to put them to use

Almost positive they are easten tent moth larva. idk the species name

google says ---(Malacosoma americanum)

i recently read a thread on these. I think it was determined that they taste bad, and therefore, shouldnt be eaten.

i heard somewhere they were poisonous due to their hair, which cant be good for a cham :/ its an irritant..
