Ok, well recently he's been turning VERY dark when i open the door to mist/feed him. Almost black. With his pattern he ends up looking like a banana that has been in the sun way too long (very dark brown with spots). I'd post a pic but if it's stress related like I'd imagine I don't want to put him under any more pressure.
I just wondered what could be causing this? Nothing has changed at all and he never used to turn dark unless anyone tried to touch him - and even then he never went THIS dark. Same viv, same temps, same humidity, same diet, same person who always does the feeding/misting (me) and same lighting schedule.
He will still hand feed from me in his blackened state and doesn't hiss or anything (again unless you get too close, but he's always done that). He goes back to his usual green once he's left alone.
Is he just throwing a strop or is it something I should be worried about? He's always been moody (i usually refer to him as R.C Chameleon
) but I want to make sure he's OK.
Thanks, Amy
