recently i have noticed that my veiled's casque has seemed to have gotten slightly fatter. Could this be a problem with my gut load or supplements?

that's where they store the fat.
should be normal.

Yeah im a tad concerned so i took some pics
And hes coming on 4 years in january
the digi camera i used today is from the stone ages so the pic is kinda crappy hope you can see a difference
The first picture taken where hes on my hand is from July
The 2nd picture is from today on the couch...
And the last is after trying 60 times to get a clear shot...

it definately got bigger. but not really fat like the ones ive seen on some others. he seems perfectly fine.

yeah especially at the base of the casque its just different...after almost 4 years of routinely the schedule of care...

Cut back on his food. He looks a bit overweight. He has a lot of body mass and his casque does look enlarged.
Try feeding him 4-6 crickets or something equal every second or even third day.
That should be plenty for a guy that age.
Otherwise he looks healthy. I see he still has some of that veiled spunk in him.
I see it looks like he recovered nicely from a burn on his back.
What is he currently feeding on?
Are they fatty foods like superworms?

He is currently on Crickets, Dubia's, Silkies, carrots he loves those and rarely mealworms
