Casque tip turned white

Your Chameleon - Male veiled 4 month old been in my care about 3&1/2months
Handling - Daily when I clean or feed he likes to come out and explore
Feeding - Crickets 6-8 silkworms 2-4 phoenix worms 5-
Supplements - I use repcal cal/ no d every day, repcal/+d 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, herptavite every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
Watering - mist 2 times a day for1 min and I do see him drink sometimeshe runs hah.
Fecal Description - Brown and white solid
History - None

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen diy 18*18*36
Lighting - arcadia lights 6% and daylight 6500
Temperature -it's been cold here in Los Angeles so the basking is 82 the lower part is 70
Humidity - humidity is at 40-60 it changes as the day goes on but I mist the cage to try and raise it
Plants - I have a golden pothos and a hibiscus plant
Placement - in my room next to my bed low traffic and the cage is on a stand

Problem- this morning I woke up Mortimer and his casque is solid white on the tip and yesterday night it wasn't like this I have pictures from yesterday night and this morning and I'm seriously worried

how far are your lights from his basking spot? If he gets too close, the light could be burning him. It also could just be the beginning of a shed.

the lights are about 6 1/2-7 inches away and whats concerning me is that picture was taken right before I put him to sleep. Believe me Id be honest if I thought I burned him I dont mind taking fault in my errors as long as he heals. But that appeared over night

I havent actually but then all I hear is the worms or crickets in the feeder cup all day I have to pay attention when I get home from work

So it's Been 3 days and it filled in with some color so it's not as noticeable but the edge is still white and looks different and he doesn't seem to be shedding and he's been acting normal other than that discoloration on his casque

It could have been a very minor burn. Sometimes they don't show up right away.
