So i hopefully am pickin up a male carpet off of another forum member and ive been doign alot of reading and searchign, and i did search here, but i cant find what humidity for these guys is supposed to be... can someone help me out

I say go 70 percent humidity and up. I would check that with a book rerference though. I would also buy a humidity meter to allow you to monitor the humidity in your chameleons enclosure.

i always monitor humidity. I have 10+ reptiles in my room (smells freaking amazing with the windows closed lol) but i have a humidity/hygrometer in every setup. I know how important humidity is to herps i just hadnt seen a good consistant number for carpets in all my reading

It should fluctuate with waterings etc.

As in nature things change.

It is good to try to "average" 70% , higher and lower during the day is fine.

When you mist it goes up to nearly 100% and can take a few hours to get below 70%. Even if it goes down to 40% you are fine , as most of the day it was "on average" at or above 70%.
