Carpet Chameleon Care

Hello, I am planning on getting a male carpet chameleon soon. I have been reading up on them, but have not found much information. I have read that their care would be similar to a veileds, but just with higher humidity. If anyone has experience with carpets, some tips would be greatly appreciated! I am wondering mostly about how much/often to feed them, Thanks!

Episode 14 of the Chameleon Breeder Podcast was all about carpet chameleons. It was an interview with Kevin Stanford who is our top carpet chameleon breeder. This would be a good research point. Their care would be more similar to panther chameleons. As for feeding, a good starting point is every day for babies up to adulthood and then every other day. Start with ten food items as babies and then scale back to five as adult. But this is just a starting point. Follow your chameleon's lead as to how much they want.
