Caretaker for George

I am going to Hawaii for 7 days in May and i am looking for someone in Houston TX that is willing to take care of him while i am gone.

Can't you just ask a relative/friend to spray him 3x a day? I mean if it's only a week he can easily go wothout food for that time.

I usually let my mom take care of my chams as she also feeds my cat. I move the enclosures to the kitchen sink and use some garbage bags to guide mistingwater into the sink so she doesnt have to worry about drainage water, then I just feed chams before I go, easy.

I have a MistKing system, but will he be ok with 7 days without food? Just moved here to Houston don't really know anyone here.

Chameleons, or reptiles in general can go without food for weeks on end.
If you have a good healthy chameleon 1 week without food is nothing to him.

They are coldblooded so they don't 'burn' as much resources as us.

I would recommend having someone check in on him and make sure the MistKing is working, have a back up hand sprayer and feed him some bugs. I would never leave my guys without a petsitter. So many terrible things can happen to these guys. Wonder if you came back and he’d had a prolapse for days or had his tongue wrapped around a branch for days. I’d never forgive myself if I did not provide proper care for my animals when I’m away.
