Hi so I’m planning to change my baby panthers and outsalet chameleon cage and I was wondering if it would be a good idea I want to get 2 ficus trees and some other plants would it be ok to do that?

Yes, it would be fine. However, if you will be making a lot of changes it’s best to remove your chameleon while you’re doing it and get everything done all at once. I put my cham on a large plant to hang out while I did a quick redo. When I did an extensive redo, I used a spare enclosure.

I'm a little confused. Are you keeping multiple chameleons in a single enclosure? That might not be a good idea; chameleons are solitary and territorial animals. Cohabiting often/usually winds up badly.

Are you planning on changing the enclosures themselves (e.g. to something larger) or just the plants within?

Here are some lists of chameleon-safe plants:

Do you think if my would be ok to put them in a box with branches and vines?

IMO it depends on how long they'll be in there, and what you've got available. When I had to do some major work (my ficus tree died), I put the little fellow on my Missus' plant table for a couple hours, where he checked out every plant there and had a ball (he didn't want to go back in, but... )

If I knew it was going to be an all-day affair, and no-one was available to keep an eye on him, I might do an opaque bin with branches (and some ventilation). With no light, they usually just go to sleep for the duration.
