Hi I am wondering if my 3 month old male can get my 11 month old female veiled pregnant? I let them free range and they start acting dif. The male starts to sway like a leaf and attempts to show colour but doesn't succeed since he is so young... Please help I don't want to have babies yet!!!

No! I told you before. Do not even attempt to breed if you arent ready. Darwin is not grown up and doesnt even have his full colors. Dont put them together in the setup. One at a time. Darwin can get injured

Yes!

Yea im serious Zach. Dont even try. Dont breed for fun and i have told you this and you said ok and understand but im just saying again.

Their setups are on opposite sides of the room! I would never bred underaged chams or any other animals! It's cruel!!! I just noticed he was swaying! One of my free range plants kinda meet in the middle of the room I only had them out at the same time yesterday when I cleaned out their cages! Like I said I don't want babies yet!

It's not a breeding behaviour, he's swaying because he doesn't want to be eaten! Be very, very careful if you insist on having the pair out at the same time ever again.

Thanks! I was making sure that they can't breed! And Stefan I don't breed for fun. That would just be stupid!

Ok i said dont. I never said you did.

Yeah ik... I'm just making sure that you know I didn't try I still have to make up her egg laying bin... She's already layed once but non fertile... The previouse owner hatched them because he bought the eggs online?! Idky someone would do that but they did? He also had a male but got rid of him :/ so next summer I am going to try to breed and see what comes out of it... By then I will have all te supplies and more cages. Which I plan to build this summer :)

If a female can even see a male, sometimes it enough to start her cycling to produce eggs. BTW...you need to get that container of washed playsand in the female's cage soon to ensure that she doesn't become eggbound. It should be a minimum of 12" x 12" x8 inches deep...and opaque.
