thanks guys for all your help she was filling in her tunnel this morning so we have left her the whole day in case she had more to do but she has been staying in the top of her viv, so we just spent the last hour digging out her box and she did it at last!!! not a big clutch infact very tiny only 10 eggs she wont let me near her to palpate her abdomen to see if she has retained any. so rather than spook her i have left her in peace and returned the laying chamber just in case

Well Done Cami :D:D

What type of cham is she ??

My Panther laid last week and I am already impatient for the hatching :(

she's a veiled! Getting worried now tho as im pretty certain she still has some eggs left to lay but she is spending all her time at the top of her viv and isn't interested in digging anymore! She is still quite dark in colour most of the time and doesn't want to be touched. She is eating but not drinking a lot and is hating being misted at the moment.
Any suggestions?? When do i start to worry about her becoming egg bound??

Have you weighed her? I always weigh my girls the day of inception, each week after that and after she is done laying.

Any suggestions guys as im getting worried about her! she only laid 11 eggs in total and that seems a very small clutch to me

she is eating and drinking but not as much as she used to. she's not overly fussed about eating her crickets or locusts (she'll eat sum of them after a while but not all of them) they're always dusted with chameleon dust (made by T-REX) and Nutrabal (calcium and mineral powder) we also have a spray calcium called Jurassic Cal. At the moment she seems to prefer eating wax worms straight from my hand although she wont allow me to get close to her (she is normally the most friendly cham you've ever met) its almost like if u put the food in front of her she'll eat it but if she has to go get it herself she doesn't bother!!
