I was just curious, how do chameleons in the wild get calcium?? Through other bugs that they can get in the wild or...???

They get it from the bugs, and natural UV lighting.

EDIT: I changed it so I didn't look dumb. Oh well, we all have spelling mistakes

Wow, I feel dumb Lol. Yes, Natural Sunshine, not Natural Lights. I mean't lighting Lol.

So, in the summer if i let my cham get natural sunlight i wouldn't need calcium supplement??

You still need to supplement. It's just you won't need the light on it. Animals take in UV to form D3, which helps them absorb Calcium

Your chameleon won't get calcium from the UVB light whether its sunlight or a UVB tube light. Exposure to UVB allows the chameleon to produce vitamin D3 which allows it to use the calcium in its diet/system....so you still need to dust the insects with phosphorous-free calcium to make up for the usually poor ratio of calcium to phosphorous found in most feeder insects.

Here's some information (and if you look at the sidebar other good articles listed to read about supplements, etc.)...
