cage size

At what age or size should you move your panther chameleon to a bigger cage, we have a 6 month old ambanja male and were just wondering when we should move him up to the biggest cage?

Unless he's a very tiny panther for his age then he should be ready now.

Alright sounds good now I can get a cage big enough for a ficus, can't wait to start "decorating".

i love decorating cages but i never find myself happy with the outcome and always want to change it again haha. My cham is in there now so i dont want to stress her out and take her out and change the cage but im going to do it soon

Get either a 24 X 24 X 48 or a 18 X 30 X 36 is what I have. Make sure you raise the cage up off the ground. The higher the better!!!

Yea we have his cage now on top of a desk right in front of the window and we measured and have enough room for a pretty big cage before we hit the ceiling haha!

I dont think there has ever been a doubt that the best cage, no matter the age, is the biggest one you can provide. While this might not be 100% accurate for TRUE hatchilngs, once you get a well extablished baby the largest cage can be used
