Anyway, when the lights are on the dont even penetrate the canopy. I ordered some led lights to just light up the bottom of the enclosure. Has anyone else had this problem? I think the plants are just huge and not letting light through to the bottom

This is how it looks when the ceiling light is off ::::

and when the room lights are on, with the camera flash :::::

The lower darkness is not an issue IMHO, but do some selective trimming creating light pathways if it bothers you.

CHEERS!

Just keep the lights on and stand there with the camera all day. Really though just trimming like nick said will work. Chams spend very little time down low, they tend to be in the upper half of the cage.

What is the humidity in the females cage? Sorry i could not read it and just wondered.

I would kill for your trees.:D

If you use a T5 HO tube fixture with a great reflector you would definitely see some more penetration. When I switched to my Arcadia fixture with 1 UVB and 3 6500k bulbs I could not believe the difference. It penetrated all the way down through the jungle. Besides, I would hate to see one leaf removed from those plants ;). They look amazing!
