ok after work im going home to work on my cage today im staining it,building the front door, adding wood to the bottom of the cage so i can put a tray there.Im wanting to go outside and cut some branches and vines. As far as branches go would oak wood sanded down be ok for the chameleon to be on?I live around a bunch of small oaks so i was going to take advantage also there are a mess of vines within my woods so. i was also going let it soak in some anti-bacterial soap and water for a bit also.

just rinse any branches off and scrub them with a brush in cas of any bird droppings. Then you can cure them in the oven. Place them in the oven on low heat for an hr or so. That will kill anything thats poss living in the wood.

I use grape vine wreaths from the hobby store for cheap vines. Simply wash them and let them dry. If you soak em its easier to work with them. Or I buy the flex vines from the pet store.
