Hi Everyone,
I just got my first chameleon, and im a little curious as to how the little guy is goin to be at my place,
i have a 4ft cage, screen; a hibuscus plant, a dried stick wth some branches for him to climb about, a nice sized uv light, its at 80-82 i checked it, as the stuff i got im not too worried about, and as far as handling him, i dont really feel comfortable handiling him with the thought of him bein all stresed out and whatnot, so i let him do his thing

but I myself, Play guitar at times, play music, and just go about doing things in my room, like any one else, would these extra noises stress this dude out?

I know chameleons are gnarley stressers, which kinda bums me out if ive been buggin him this whole time.

some chameleons stress more then others. i have chams that freek with any lil thing and others who will eat if im holding her and some one else holds the cricket with out any stress colors. she is amazingly sweet. she allways eats at least one from me. then like my stress chams if i even look at there cage they start to run and hide. wont eat if im near the cage and tryes to kill me when i go inside.

it just depends on your cham. how has he been holding up so far?

Hes doin better,
i built a nice sturdy shelf and moved his cage higher on the wall, so he can only see the ceiling, and the top part of the room.
hes dark when i turned his light on, but immediately ate, and i sprayed his cage, he then started to drink water. i think in good time the dude'll mellow out and get used to his new cage.

all sounds good it normally takes a few days to weeks for a cham to get used to its new home.. do you have any photos you could share?
