I've had for cornileus for almost2 weeks and hasn't shed so I don't know where it begins. It's on his dorsal fin and a little on the tip of his casque.
Your picture is very blurry and it is hard to see what you are talking about. They will start a shed from the top of their back if that is what you mean. It will be white and start right below the spikes.
