Bumps inside Chameleon's eyelids

When I visited Petco to get a new chameleon, there was one with a large bump in it's right eye and a smaller bump in it's left eye. So of course when I saw this I needed to get it, because they obviously wouldn't do anything to help it. It's been a couple days and I plan on going to the vet when I can, and he's been rubbing his eye on everything. I'm not sure what to do, I believe he's about 3 months old. Any advice could help. I looked over a bunch of different forums and couldn't find someone with the same problem. I know it's probably from either dehydration, lighting, improper vitamin feeding, etc. I've been misting him properly, he has a proper tank set up, but it was definitely something Petco had caused. Any help is welcome!

This to also help make sure the info you got is correct (there aren’t a lot of trustworthy sources for chameleon info). Making sure you fill the form out in as much detail as possible and adding a full pic of the entire enclosure, the lights, and a pic of the back of its back feet (so we can help you sex it) would be wonderful! Where do you live? We can help you find an experienced chameleon vet, as well.

Typically eye issues like this have a direct link to incorrect supplementation and lighting. When you see it in both eyes like this that is what I lean towards. It could be an infection though as well. If that is the case the Vet needs to be a good reptile vet and they would flush the eyes.

What supplements, rotation, and lighting are you using? Can you take pics of the enclosure you have baby in? I know it came to you like this but I want to make sure you got the right info for your set up and supplementation.
