so since I basically have to hand feed my cham water, is it ok to get a syringe and inject water into the crickets bodies before I feed them to my cham? Obviously I could really care less from the bugs point of view because I'm feeding them to a dinosaur anyway but he's not going to get over hydrated will he? I just feel it's a very simple way to get water in him without drenching him in the shower.

Assuming of course you think water is going to somehow stay in an already water-rich insect, sure. But it's not going to work. Your best bet is to feed the crickets apple, fresh lettuce leaves, or something else with water in it.

with crickets and supers you would be very surprised how much water I can fit in them. the super worms can't bend anymore.

If you think you can get a lot of water into a cricket or super (which you can) you have to try a silkworm. They are basically living water balloons!
