How long does it take for a pair of panthers to finally "connect". My female is finally receptive and we are stuck here. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362873618.178768.jpg

Is the problem the male is not interested? Most of the time the male will follow the female until she picks her spot then they "connect". Could take a few minutes but not usually much longer. The whole interlude is typically an hour for a single mating but I usually leave them together for a day or until the female shows signs of stress/dark colors/gaping or biting

He's very into her. Head bobbing and everything. He's been following her. I don't know if they are nervous being virgins lol.

Yes it is the Spock girl. And he's following but playing hard to get. They did not connect yesterday so I separated them and going to try again today.

We usually try to judge by the females color. Upon seeing the male if she stays light she may be receptive. When she is done with the male her colors usually turned dark, she wants nothing to do with the male and threatens him. We are no experts, but this is how we make our judgments.

She stayed pink and happy. He did get on top of her and she slipped right out from under him. I don't know why. Male is shedding so will try in a couple days.

Ug trying again today. My male gets all into it and chases for a little bit and then gets ADD and stops. They need Viagra for chameleons. Grrr I want grand babies!

I have a male that does the same thing. He forgets she is in there and starts his head bobbing when she comes into view but does not follow through. I would say keep trying and maybe show another male to see if it helps. You might also try putting the pair in a tree outside either ones cage in neutral territory. You might have a different result. Hope it works out.
